What "Terrorist" group will USA create next?
We all know the Executive Branch & Legislative Branch have been creating "terrorists" for a long time.
USA created Bin Laden to fight the Russians because you know,
"THE COMMIES ARE COMING!!!"
USA created ISIS/ISIL in 2004 because the USA invaded Iraq to steal their oil under the script of
"BIN LADEN IS COMING!!!!"
While it's true Congress is too chickenshit to fulfill their Constitutional duty and demand the US President get authorization from Congress ... what terrorist group is the USA's new script creating as we plan arm the so-called "moderate" rebels in Syria?
"ISIL IS COMING!!!!"
Run ... hide ... run ... hide ... RUN ... HIDE!!!!! The terrorists that (shhh... whisper... that the United States created) are COMING!!!!
God I am sick of this shit! I am sick of members of Congress telling us, actually telling us that we should not look at the mistakes we made in the past, we should ignore the past because -- you know -- who the hell wants to learn from the GD mistakes of the past?
The other day, Charlie Dent (R-Pa.) told the Washington post,
DENT: "This is a complex issue. I don't want to relitigate the past -- why we went in in the first place, the president's decision in 2011 to withdraw every last troop. At this point, I think we have to look forward not backward."
Yeah, that's the ticket that will keep those commies, bin laden and other terrorists the United States create out.
Staying on the topic, who the hell wants to learn from the GD mistakes of the past, we have the insane Republican Peter King offering this up
Asked if he saw any irony in Cheney coming to talk to Republicans about next steps in Iraq, King said firmly, "No, because most of us think we did the right thing in Iraq."
~ Peter King, 9/9/2014
No, f'cker, you didn't do the "
right thing in Iraq." In fact, what
you did in Iraq created ISIL/ISIS!
While Congress is too stupid to learn from the past, I am not. History shows me that no country can occupy another country from afar and win. It cannot happen because the people who actually live in that occupied country will eventually kick your ass out because no country's people want to be occupied by another country.
This is just a highlighted summary, not a text in history, so I am keeping these bullet points short and sweet.
We LOST Vietnam because you cannot occupy a country and win. You cannot win.
We LOST the Korean War because you cannot occupy a country and win. You cannot win.
We LOST the Iraq War because you cannot occupy a country and win. You cannot win.
We will never "win" a war in the Middle East, because, you cannot occupy territory and win.
I mean, heck, even if you look at Israel and Palestine you will see there are no winners there. Palestinians view Israel as trying to encroach (occupy) land so they bomb Israel resulting in NO WINNERS. Neither country will ever win that fight because you cannot occupy a country and win.
Congress doesn't want to learn from the past is a sign of that they are completely incompetent, inept. In my opinion, it is that mentality, not wanting to learn from the past, that makes this Congress a danger to National Security.
Many in Congress, especially Republicans want America to keep our troops in the Middle East forever, and ever amen, and all that does is create "terrorists" groups like ISIL/ISIS. I take that back, that IS what created ISIL/ISIS
In 2008, John McCain admitted he'd like to see the USA occupy Iraq for 100 years.
Mother Jones reported
The United States military could stay in Iraq for "maybe a hundred years" and that "would be fine with me," John McCain told two hundred or so people at a town hall meeting in Derry, New Hampshire, on Thursday evening.
Mother Jones went on to explain that John McCain was even cool with have US Troops stay in Iraq for 1000 years or 1,000,000 years.
After the event ended, I asked McCain about his "hundred years" comment, and he reaffirmed the remark, excitedly declaring that U.S. troops could be in Iraq for "a thousand years" or "a million years," as far as he was concerned.
You see, it is talk like that that makes the globe see us, America, as a country that wants to occupy the whole world ... and guess what? Countries do not want the USA occupying their land.
Iraq told Bush and Cheney 'NO! You Americans cannot occupy Iraq, NO Status of Forces Agreement.'
Iraq told Obama: 'NO! You Americans cannot occupy Iraq, NO Status of Forces Agreement.'
From what I understand, from reading Aljezeera News, even the people who live in Iraq have not signaled that they want the United States fighting ISIL.
"Any US intervention in Anbar would be seen by [the] Sunni people... as direct military support for the federal Shia-led government in Baghdad against them," said Hashim al-Habobi, an independent Iraqi political analyst.
"For Sunni people, Americans are not welcomed in the Sunni areas as they are seen as occupiers," Habobi said. "[But if] Anbar falls into the hands of [Islamic State] militants ... the next battle will be on the western border of Baghdad."
Congress are derelict in their duty if they do not look at history. President Eisenhower warned us ...
warned us ... and warned Congress
not to fight wars for the Military Industrial Complex.
PRESIDENT EISENHOWER: In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.
~ President Eisenhower
George Bush should not ask, "
Is our children learning?" George Bush should ask "
Is our Congress learning?"
Here's the bottom line:
Congress is too chickenshit to fulfill their Constitutional duty and have a open floor debate on War and Peace. So, therefore, NO! We should not send any troops in any capacity to fight "ISIL/ISIS."
If fighting ISIL/ISIS is not important enough for Congress to debate then it is not important enough for American Troops to DIE over.
