If you think our democracy is in peril due to a string of disastrous Supreme Court decisions, and you want to know what you can do about it, then please come to the Long Beach premiere of Pay 2 Play on Thursday evening October 16 at 6:30pm. The screening will be held at Cal State University Long Beach, University Theater.
There will be a Q & A right after the film, led by the movie's Producer, Holly Mosher.
In addition, Michele Sutter, Chair of the Yes on 49 Committee will relay the story of how a small group of grassroots activists was able to successfully lobby the CA legislature to pass The Overturn Citizens United Act which will bring this critical issue to the statewide ballot in an upcoming election.
Box office opens at 5:30 and general admission is $5.00. There is parking available in Lot 7, accessible from West Campus Drive off 7th Street.
