Those were Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaughs words today after announcing the Ravens had cut former franchise running back Ray Rice after TMZ released video from inside the elevator on the night in question.

Here's the thing, there was more than enough information out there to come to the conclusion the Ravens and the NFL came to today. The first video was enough for me. This should have been the initial reaction by Godell and Harbaugh. After Godell announced a 2 game suspension there was much derision. It took the NFL a month, after much outrage, to make the suspensions for such things much harsher. It took all of three hours today to indefinitely suspend Rice. What did the video released today change. It didn't really change what many people thought to have happened. No what changed was there it was, stark and in your face, not to be denied or explained away. That's what changed. There isn't always video-graphic evidence of abuse, and the lack there of should change nothing.
