As I was wheeled into my latest surgery I thought to myself:
"Self, here I go again"
And I was being out under for yet another surgery.
And I thought to myself, that if you had asked me when I was 20 if I would have had numerous surgeries before I was 50 I would have thought you were daft.
And it occurred to me that maybe I am an outlier
I am curious as to how many people have had surgeries....I mean is it as rare as I think I is? Or is it more commonplace?
I am not counting things like colonoscopies, but actual they go in, put you under and you wake up X amount of time later.
I've had 5 now, covering different parts of me, and I am not sure if that is a huge amount compared to most people, in the normal distribution, or what, thus the diary. :)
