Well this is a hoot.

All the crowd funding for anti-gay bakers, anti-gay pizza owners, anti-Muslim firearms stores and ranges has gotten noticed. And with that noticed an understanding that the purpose of the fine would be subverted.

Plaintiffs in the case had asked Bunning to fine Davis, but they specifically requested that he not jail her. Bunning, though, said fines would not work because others might raise money to pay the penalty on her behalf. - kentucky.com
