Pour féliciter 2015! Wishing you all the best of that which matters to you most in this only slightly used year.
Greetings and welcome, to another Fuzzy Friday open thread with the good folk of the Street Prophets group. C'mon in, sit a spell, and tell me of your grand plans for the year. Have you made plans? Resolutions? Is the year already off to a roaring start?
A bit of my own blithering beyond the ginger hairball and then it's all up to you.
I'm writing this after a rousing evening with friends and a short drive home in unseasonably warm drizzle to a cozy fire and wonderful Czech fairy tales on the TV. My late dinner is leftover stirfry that has gone cold, but remains tasty. I had thought this week after Christmas was going to be somewhat lazier, but we've had visitors or some place to visit nearly every day.
There are a couple of things I'd like to accomplish this year. I'd like to finally get my act together and put together a crowd funding project for a graphic novel. I'm hoping to get a bit of self-publishing done. And hopefully I'll have a couple other projects to look forward to... yeah, mostly I'm hanging my hopes on creative projects and more work. I felt rather severely underemployed last year.
Next week I have an appointment to see a new general practitioner-- a new doctor. One of the things I did at the close of last year was to change doctors. I didn't really have a problem with my old doctor, but I think I need someone who will keep track of what tests and immunizations I'm due to endure... which is something the office of this new doctore promises.
I suppose I'll toss in a resolution to excercise more.
That's a pretty good start.
