One of the big Governor races we have this year is in Kentucky which I think is a very important race for us to win because the ACA state exchange program, Kynect, has been doing incredibly well in Kentucky. Attorney General Jack Conway (D. KY) has been campaigning for Governor since last year and his campaign just gained more momentum:

The state AFL-CIO endorsed Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway for governor Tuesday, adding to Conway’s apparent momentum and perhaps helping to clear the Democratic primary field.
It’s a bit unusual to endorse during a primary and even before the filing deadline has passed, said AFL-CIO President Bill Londrigan. But the labor group isn’t the first Democratic group or name to get out in front on the 2015 Democratic Primary.
Several prominent Democrats, including former U.S. Sen. Wendell Ford, Lt. Gov. Crit Luallen and U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth of Louisville have endorsed Conway as well as several individual unions and locals.
The AFL-CIO endorsement may be intended as a message to others reportedly considering the race, such as Lexington banker Luther Deaton and Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes. - The Richmond Register, 1/20/15
Here's what the AFL-CIO had to say about their endorsement of Conway:

Londrigan said labor went all out for Grimes in the Senate race and he thinks she has “a very bright political future,” but he said Conway will be “a great advocate” for Kentucky’s working men and women.
“Jack is truly committed to helping Kentucky’s hard-working men and women improve their living standards and working conditions,” Londrigan said in a prepared statement. He said Conway “understands the struggles that workers face in this difficult economy.”
Conway wasn’t the only gubernatorial candidate to announce an endorsement. Former U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning endorsed Comer. Bunning joins current Republican Congressman Ed Whitfield and former Congressional members Ron Lewis and Anne Northup in endorsing Agriculture Commissioner James Comer. - Glasgow Daily Times, 1/20/15
