Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has won the prize for biggest piece of shit in America.
Two Syrian refugee families who had been approved to be moved to the United States and were scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis on Thursday have been officially told they are not welcome.
I want to hear not one damn thing from Republicans about the "Christian" thing to do from here on in. Not one damn thing. Not one fucking stupid, sanctimonious, pompous-ass thing about Christian values or American exceptionalism or anything that is not Gov. Mike Pence or other noble bullshitters standing up and saying "I am a huge, gigantic racist afraid even of women and children and babies and I have no more moral fiber than a wet sock clogging a toilet."
The letters also told Exodus Refugee Immigration Inc. and Catholic Charities Indianapolis to notify its national resettlement agencies that all subsequent arrivals be suspended or redirected to other states.
One of the families has been has been waiting in Jordan for three years before getting approval to move to the U.S., according to the New York Times. The family of three will be resettled in New Haven, Conn., the Times reports.
This is where we're at. Mr. Governor Family-Values Christian Bullshitter Extraordinaire is blocking two Christian charities from doing the charity work of helping war refugees because, despite three years of "vetting," those people are still brown and from a place Mike Pence's racist shit-stain “Christian” supporters are a'feared of. The last we heard, mind you, religious charity groups were groups so sacrosanct that even federal law could not stand against their whims, at least when they had whims about womenfolk, but now the Republican thing to do is to block those charities from helping families fleeing war zones because other deeply "family oriented" American shit-stains are afraid of them.
Not one word. Not one goddamn word about "Christian" values. Don't say it, don't imply it, don't go to the bullshit conferences where you profess your deep love of God and thump the podium as you demand America Does His Will. Shut the fuck up.
