Not only has the Right been called out on their Politically motivated refugee Posturing, but now there is proof that they are feeling cornered by the public.
In a panic move, The Right wing has called in their chief witch hunter in charge. Famed Benghazi witch Hunter Trey Gowdy, has been called in by the GOP to run interference for their cowardly butts.
As reported by Motherjones.com , Trey is reportedly “Afraid that Obama’s refugee policy will create more widows and orphans in the United States”
If His past actions chairing of the Benghazi hearing is any indication of what the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border is now up to, you can count on the Syrian Refugee issue being stretched out to cover the 2016 election cycle at the expense of millions of taxpayer dollars.
In the opening comments, Gowdy fledged the classic GOP outrage that Obama had mocked Republican presidential candidates for their position on the refugee crisis in Syria. That set the stage for this latest witch hunt to begin.
Five witnesses discussed various aspects of the application process for refugees to settle in the United States and US policy toward refugees from Syria. If Gowdy runs true to form, this is only the beginning of committee meetings about the refugee process. It should last conveniently through the election cycle.
The committee meeting was orchestrated by the GOP defense to work in conjunction with a measure that was overwhelmingly approved a few hours earlier by the house demanding an impossible “100% guarantee” that would require the director of the FBI, the secretary of homeland security, and the director of national intelligence to certify to congress that each refugee applicant from Syria and Iraq poses no threat to the United States.
The impossible “100% guarantee” would effectively bring an end to future refugees entering the country
Obama has pledged to veto the bill stating that the bill would “unacceptably hamper our efforts to assist some of the most vulnerable people in the world, many of whom are victims of terrorism."
In an earlier comment about the second Republican Debate I nailed it when I predicted that this would be the future direction that the GOP would be taking, pointing, too Mike Huckabee’s #DemDebate tweet on the Paris Attacks. “Your all grown up now. You can do it. Three words Ten syllables. Say it with me: Radical Islamic terrorism.”
The Syrian Refugee issue may lead to yet another manufactured crisis and budget fight in December.
One thing is sure the GOP is acting like a frightened and scared child.
It also proves that the Right will resort to anything to take control of the country in 2016.
