We have a choice in the primaries. We can vote for someone who believes war is an absolute last resort, or we can vote for someone who will find a way to justify another war. A vote for Mrs. Clinton is a vote for war in Iraq and Syria. Her history is clear
In 2002 she voted to allow Bush II to go to war. She gave him a blank check and told him to fill it in. In 2007 she laughed about that so as to make the person who just called her out look foolish even though he had her dead to rights. Now she says that the 2002 vote was a mistake, but she won’t say exactly who or how it was a mistake. And in response to the attacks in Paris she says we must send ground troops into Iraq and Syria in the form of Special Ops forces.
Bernie Sanders foresaw back in 2002 that invading Iraq would destabilize the region. Somehow Mrs. Clinton looked at the same exact information and couldn’t see that it was all lies and what it would lead to.
If she couldn’t see that, then it is clear that she lacks the judgment to lead us into another war. Syria will quickly turn into a proxy war between the US and Russia. As the Turkish shooting down of a Russian jet shows, there are things that cannot get gamed out.
The Russians are putting ground troops into Syria to protect their planes. They are advising the Syrians in combat situations. Those Syrians troops are attacking both ISIS and the other forces fighting Assad. So what happens if US Special Ops get into a firefight while embedded with the Free Syrian Army and those Assad troops have Russian advisors and either Russian or US troops get killed? What happens if a No-fly zone is “set up” by the US and then shoots down a Syrian helicopter with Russians on it?
In addition, The US has about 2,500 Seals that are being used in countries all over the world from Afghanistan to the Philippines. There are not enough of them to defeat ISIS. Other Special Forces like the Green Berets or Rangers would have to be used as well. And there would have to be support troops in the event that the “advisors" or other forces needed assistance. When those aren't enough, you can already hear Republicans calling for a “surge". And you know in your heart that Mrs. Clinton will be happy to oblige.
We can avoid such a clusterfuck! One Democratic candidate understands how and one doesn’t

Being a Neo-con doesn't just mean regime change. It is a philosophy about America’s right to exert its power to achieve its interests. It is the idea that the US can do whatever it has to do to protect it’s "interests".
