DKos has never loaded particularly fast for me and now it is even slower. There are many times when the title of a diary does not make it clear what it is about. Before I would commit to the time it takes to open it up I always used the preview feature to get more of an idea whether it was something I wanted to read more about. It made browsing the site much more efficient. One could quickly ascertain the tone of the writing and glean more information about the topic. Now I just skip reading any diary that doesn't definitively grab me with its headline alone. I plead to the designers to bring it back!
In the meantime I would ask diarists to make the title as clear and explanatory as possible. If we are “At War Again!” Please tell me at war with whom, ISIS or the NRA or the cable company. Clever, funny titles are only obvious when you can read the first couple of sentences to confirm it is humor and not deadly serious shtick. I don't know about everyone else, but I need context to make decisions about to use (or waste) my valuable time. I am reading many fewer diaries because the lack of this feature.
