Ok, it’s relatively minor, but it also served to abraid my stubbornness. I hate polls. I hate mentions of D_____ _rump.
On the FB page of my local Bernie grassroots group, a poster urged participation in the Fox News poll: Which Presidential Candidate do you think has provided the best solutions to some of the nation's most pressing issues?
With my velvet tact, I answered “Why should I care what Fox News says?”
She answered that they should know Bernie’s support outweighs _rump.
Okaaaaaayyyyyy. I’ll take the chance of getting coal cookies in my stocking.
{{Deep breath}} Ok, wasn’t that bad:
So what if the poll was freeped by Sanders supporters, and that among Republicans, _rump still leads, though I think Cruz is easing in to his sleazy boots?
I will also point out that I thought the dampened political cards would give us a same-old Clinton-Bush match. Because money. Bush can’t get no satisfaction, if he wants a rally song…
I like to look at the current situation as both a crumbling of the Republican party and Fox News. Isn’t it the damnedest irony that Megan Kelly got to call out _rump’s sexism before Hillary had the opportunity? Among Republican family and friends, there is actually some stirring of enough is enough with the degradation of women: _rump was the first R to lose their support—though I am reluctant to tell them Carly won’t PAC it in.
