Hillary is leading on the issue of gun violence. According to the Slate article linked below and unbelievably, the Sanders campaign is still in the process of drafting a plan to address gun violence?
Hillary is prepared to lead with her plan on day one and with gun violence being a pressing issue, we need a President who has a plan right now!
Edit: It appears the Sanders campaign has finally released a plan on gun violence, but one has to question why it took so long? I've amended the title to accurately reflect today’s developments.

What have the three Democratic candidates proposed to address gun violence, and what kinds of violence would their platforms actually tackle?
Clinton has a three-pronged plan. First, there are background checks. As president, she would hope to sign comprehensive federal background check legislation and close such loopholes for gun show and Internet sales. On the supply-side, her plan calls for repealing the law that prevents victims of gun violence from suing manufacturers and dealers, and backing punitive action against “bad-actor” dealers that “knowingly supply straw purchasers and traffickers.” She would also seek to limit access to guns among the mentally ill—specifically people “involuntarily committed to outpatient treatment”—and make straw purchasing a federal crime.
Bernie Sanders hasn’t released a package for gun control, but his campaign is crafting one, and judging from the present environment in the Democratic Party, it will likely hew to the Clinton and O’Malley models.

Today, in New Hampshire.
Hillary Clinton on Thursday called for for immediate action on gun safety reform in light of the shooting in San Bernardino, California that killed 14 and injured nearly two dozen more.
"No parent should have to worry about going to a holiday party after work or about sending their kids to school," she said, speaking at a campaign event at Southern New Hampshire University. "No one should have that basic sense of safety and security ripped away from them. The vast majority of Americans support common sense steps to reduce and prevent gun violence."
Clinton has made the issue of gun violence, and calls for "common sense" gun reforms, a major part of her policy agenda as she seeks the Democratic nomination. In particular, she has called for Congress to ban those on terrorist watch lists, or no-fly lists, from having guns.
"If you are too dangerous to fly," she said, "You are too dangerous to buy a gun in America."
Londonderry resident Robin Skudlarek, who is an active volunteer with the advocacy group Moms Demand Action, said here on Thursday that she believes Clinton has a stronger record on guns than her main rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
"I believe that she is actually talking about it and she's talking about change that can be done on an executive level that hasn't been done," she said.
Skudlarek said that politicians offering "thoughts and prayers" is not enough.
