My vote: Brian Williams. At least we know he's looking for work.
Deadline Hollywood does a good round-up with this kicker:
Alec Baldwin

There's an even longer list at
JustJared, com. Most of them are Daily Show or Saturday Night Live folks.
The weirdest suggestion is Mindy Kaling.
Over at Truthdig, they're pushing for a woman:
Samantha Bee, for example, is the longest-serving correspondent on “The Daily Show” and would be a great option. Other former and current correspondents that come to mind are Olivia Munn and Jessica Williams. From outside the “Daily Show” family, there’s of course Amy Poehler, whose “Parks and Recreation” run ended recently (the show is still on the air but is in its last half-season). Variety reckons comedians Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer could also be contenders for the oh-so-coveted slot.
