First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Marc Benioff of Salesforce was the first voice I heard speaking out against the new "Religious Freedoms" law in Indiana. This is heartening, especially because, as far as I know, he is not LGBT himself. These laws, and they are cropping up in other states, are perversions of our constitution. Religious freedom to discriminate is not freedom. It is discrimination. The fact that there is a similar law under consideration in Arkansaw and other states, speaks to a conspiracy to move the country toward Christian Sharia Law, or as Kos called the movement, the American Taliban. Citizens have a duty to point at these efforts and call them what they are, hateful movements towards discrimination and bigotry. They are designed by the elites in an effort to divide the people against each other. Anything to divert attention away from the fact that a small group of plutocrats are sucking the life out of our country. Democracy is a bitch if you're part of only 1%. Even with all the money, how do you maintain control? The answer is, you turn the 99% against themselves, and get one faction to vote in your interests.
