And I got nice comments on it from Howard Dean, Stan Lee, and Adrian Cronauer (the real one, not Robin Williams as....). Then, 2 weeks ago, I hear that Thom Hartmann somehow read it and loved it, and said so on his show on March 11.
Anyway, if any Kossacks out there dare to check it out, it's a politically charged time-travel romance (Kirkus called it "uproarious," but also said "enthusiatically recommended") with guest appearances by Thomas Jefferson and a few shrewd 19th century French rural vineyard workers. The main character is a 21st century wine nerd in southern California, Robert "Ro-BAIR" Packard. It also reveals the secrets of maa-shalats, which I know you have all been waiting for since the dawn of time.
I tried to find out how to post this in the literary/book/reading category/section, but couldn't figure out how to do it. Maybe someone can help me out.
The book is called "The Time Cellar," and info on it can be found at amazon.com+books. All like it/hate it comments will be welcome, in case I write another one......
