Asperger's Syndrome is a blessing if the system provides us resources

Hey everyone!! I have made it through the toughest stages of therapy and I feel so empowered to make a difference.

The system is rigged against us Aspies in ways very few people can relate to. I really hope Bernie Sanders (and respectfully if in the worst case scenario it is Hillary) will find a way to reach these especially invisible groups. Add in mental illnesses that destroy us invisibly because we struggle to perceive our feelings with each and every pain, no wonder we have anxiety and are miserable.

Anybody know activists I can network with in terms of mental illness and conditions like autism?

By the way, I have had it with people who say Asperger's is a disease or disorder that needs to be cured. It is a neurological brain wiring that is different. Yes we need therapy to process and grow through all the pains but therapy to "cure us altogether"?  There is nothing to be ashamed about with Aspergers syndrome. We are NOT bad people and do not want to be. Nobody WANTS to be a bad person.

We have empathy in our hearts. We just need to find the means to show it through our complicated meshwork of wiring.
