the Story of the Dinosaur and the Mouse will soon replace the story of the
StoryTortoise and the Hare. Everyone knows the story of the Turtle and the Rabbit
but there is a story of a dinosaur and a mouse
A dinosaur once looked down on a mouse and said. "I eat more then you, look,
I eat a tree an hour, and you, barely chew on a leaf"... The Mouse said, "Well, I shall
eat you up " The dinosaur laughed. but a few days later he saw 10 mice and he laughed,
and a few days later he saw 100 mice and he laughed but not quite so loudly and
then it was 1000 mice and soon enough it was 100,000 mice and the dinosaur saw that the trees were getting stripped and the dinosaur was going further to get a meal,
and then there were a million mice and he noticed they were biting at his tail and his feet. and it hurt more to walk for a meal....

now this is Fortune Magazine, the magazine of big business.
The sheer number of homeowners who are now opting for solar panels over other energy sources is growing. A significant 437 megawatts of solar panels were installed in the first quarter, which was a 76 percent increase from the first quarter of 2014, said the report.
That's 2 nuke plants a year without adjusting for growth.
If that doesn’t wow you, what about this: There were more residential solar panels installed in the first quarter of this year than natural gas power plants.
Small scale Residential PV is now outrunning large scale fossil...
This type of consumer engagement could help open up markets for more energy-related goods, like home energy management systems, electric and hybrid cars, energy efficient lighting and home batteries. It could also help consumers become more energy conscious, which could lead to lower energy use, and lower per person carbon emissions. Well, that’s the theory, at least.
Having a home display that tells you power consumption, plugging in your car,
these are huge impacts on carbon consumption and huge impacts on carbon emissions.
The report says 3 million new home rooftop solar installations could be installed over the next five years. By the end of this year, there could be 7.9 gigawatts of solar panels collectively operating in the U.S. For comparison’s sake one gigawatt is the equivalent of a large coal or natural gas plant.
That means in 7-8 years we are at 8 Million new roof installations and that's when
it becomes normalized. Nobody really worries about a hybrid car now. It's normalized
at 3% market share the Hybrid isn't a big deal...I'ts just a decision.
At 8% it's part of the terrain.
In DC I don't notice a prius anymore, it's background..What are noticable are plugs in,
like my Chevy Volt...
Oh yeah, that Dinosaur...
It wasn't his feet that started to hurt first...
