This just came over my FB feed; reported by the Latino Caucus of the Pennsylvania State Democratic Party via Lancaster City Democratic Committee
Chairman Jim Burn of the Pennsylvania State Demcratic Party has suddenly resigned! His YouTube resignation speech can be found here.
I'll be viewing the video, and scanning the web, to glean more.
3:59 PM PT: This is a quick transcription of the video:
"During the Allentown meeting in June, there were discussions about the Party's future and his future as Chairman… Not a new conversation... Even though he was elected unanimously in June, the discussion had continued... Over the last 5 years we have: $375,000 in the bank, a new outreach effort to Judical candidates to work with them & provde staff and coordinate campaigns... But his 'issue' keeps cropping up... Can't afford to have the issue be focused on DECISIONS HE MADE LAST YEAR (my emphasis), which he defends, dominate the conversation... He wants to 'move the conversation in a new direction'... Intends to submit his Letter of Resignation on September 12th, at the Gettisburg Meeting, effective that day... He is instructing staff to put in a 30 and 10 day call for an election of a new chairman at the September meeting... The institution must come first... He doesn't want to degrade our efforts in PA... Can't allow our opponents to control the conversation... Concludes with thanks..."

Basically it looks like more fall-out from Wolf's election. The article intimates that Wolf asked state committee members to install his pick (Katie McGinty, his Chief of Staff) as party chair.
Personally I hope Wolf gets his way; from my (admittedly limited) political viewpoint, there's been too much dysfunction in PA Democratic organization that passes down to the local level. The big question for me will be, how will this effect the race for the Senate - and the Democratic competition for Joe Sestak?
