Let the victim blaming begin:
"This is being treated like a murder investigation," Elton Mathis, Waller County's district attorney, said at a press conference Monday.
...
After viewing the video, Mathis said Bland was not "compliant" with the officer's directions.
"Sandra Bland was very combative. It was not a model traffic stop. It was not a model person that was stopped," Mathis said.
On Friday, DPS reassigned Encinia to desk duties because the dashboard camera video revealed violations of traffic stop procedures.

Does it matter to DA Mathis that the dashboard video showed the stop to be in violation of traffic stop procedures? He doesn't mention it except as it relates to Sandra Bland. The victim was "very combative" and "not a model person," making the encounter "not a model traffic stop."
Like Samuel Dubose, father of 13 children who was shot in the head and killed Sunday during a traffic stop for a missing front license plate, the deceased is always to blame for getting killed. With reportedly upwards of 60 arrests on his record, he was a "known criminal" with a "violent past" "asking for it."
I'm sick of this shit.
Really, I am.
