Welcome to day two of the Scan Edition of Lysis's awesome series
Hillary News & Views!
First off, in case we needed even more evidence that it's a zombie scandal that's going nowhere, the State Department has once again officially made clear that Hillary Clinton violated none of their email policies.
One thing's for sure: Hillary is definitely guilty of using email while she tirelessly served our country as Secretary as State. Raise your hand if you're over this.
Ahh...as I am sensing a lot of hands going up all across the Internet, I'll move on to something meaningful: Education. Hillary's plan to make college affordable must be catching on, because the campaign keeps sending out tweets about it and people keep sharing them.
Gallup has released a poll of over 2,000 Hispanic adults and the results are really something. I'll let the graphs tell the tale.
This one is highly encouraging as we look ahead to 2016:
Whereas this one is just hilarious:
Donald Trump unpopular among Hispanics? Who could have predicted? The only semi-surprising thing here is that Jeb is actually doing pretty alright. But if the Clinton campaign has their way, even this won't last long:
On Monday, Jeb tried to fix the "anchor baby" mess by clarifying that "what I was talking about was the specific case of fraud being committed where there's organized efforts, and frankly, it's more related to Asian people coming into our country and having children in that organized effort."
So now that Jeb has officially lost the "Asian people" vote as well, his odds just got a little worse. Watch the video at the link. I have to agree with Rachel Maddow here...he's just really not good at this.
And did you know that there's an RNC staffer working full-time at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock trying to dig up dirt on Hillary? Yep.
He arrives at the large glass building each day at 9 a.m. on the dot, walks past two giant animatronic dinosaurs, and goes through security.
For the rest of the day, he’s behind enemy lines.
In some ways the dinosaurs—part of a temporary exhibit at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library—are fitting, since he spends his day looking into the past.
Hillary Clinton’s past, to be exact.
He is a staffer for the Republican National Committee—the only one dispatched to Arkansas to wade through the Clinton archives. He spends his days looking for contradictions, embarrassments, and outright hypocrisy nestled within the hundreds of boxes stored there.
It’s all part of an unprecedented research operation undertaken by the RNC to stop Clinton in her tracks.
The article gives the impression that it's a very boring task that isn't going that well so far. But there's some serious oppo research going on, that's for sure.
Finally, once again I'll end with another great Instagram post celebrating the first day of school. Some nerds are cooler than others!
Making being a nerd look cool since 1965. Happy first day of school to those headed back today!
