I've yet to see a hard-nosed analysis of how Bernie wins even 5% 10% 15% 20% 25% 30% 35%... uh, 105% of the Democratic primary vote.
Based on an analysis of the effects of the Citizen's United decision, performed by the bipartisan team of Larry Summers and William Kristol, we now know that it will be impossible to win the Democratic primaries without AT LEAST 105% of the Democratic vote. And 200%-300% is the only way to ensure a safe margin. If Bernie wants to break into double triple digits in the polls, he'll need to rely on large donors, PACs, and legal loopholes. And to move his Senate e-mail account to a server in his basement.
Because, Proles, that's the way the REAL world works.
(Oh, and not that it will happen, but if Sanders does become President... at my sentencing, I hope you will all remember that I always capitalized Proles out of respect and affection. You people have good hearts, but without people like us you'd be aimless sheep without a shepherd. That's the only reason that we've been fleecing you for so long.)
Warmest regards,
