Jeb Bush doesn't find the name 'Redskins' offensive. Care to guess why?

And here's Jeb Bush, taking a strong stand on an issue that he feels deeply about, or not deeply about, or just heard about yesterday—take your pick.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said on a Sirius XM interview this week that, despite numerous calls from Native American groups to do so, he does not believe the Washington NFL team needs to change its name.

“I don’t think it should change it,” the Republican presidential hopeful said on the The Arena. “But again, I don’t think politicians ought to be having any say about that, to be honest with you. I don’t find it offensive. Native American tribes generally don’t find it offensive.”

No doubt those tribes are demanding a name change just out of spite, then. All right, and how is it that aspirational leader of the free world Jeb Bush came to the conclusion that neither he nor actual Native Americans find the name and logo of the Washington [Redacted]s offensive and thus worthy of changing?

[Washington Redacteds owner Dan Snyder] also happens to be helping bankroll Bush’s presidential campaign. In April, he contributed $100,000 to the Right to Rise Super PAC, a legally unaffiliated pro-Bush committee for which Bush himself actively raised money.

There ya go. A hundred thousand dollars well spent, I'd say. Or would, if the good ship Jeb! wasn't currently circling the bathtub drain.
