Dear Diary,
"Oh, man, the bullshit piled up so fast in Viet Nam, you needed wings to stay above it."
Ever since the Crusades, we been bringing shit from the wars back home with us, and along with the shrimpers and the flag draped boxes, and the Agent Orange, the improved bullshit making machinery made it back, better than ever. 'Tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of its ancient heritage'. As they say.
But what we have here, in this new century, is beyond bullshit. Because you know, at least bullshit actually exists. It's a real thing. You can even hold it in your hand, while you wish into the other hand, so you can see for yourself which one gets full the fastest.
But what we have here in this day and age isn't even bullshit. It's Unicorn Shit. It's shit that has no factual three dimensional manifestation. It's like air guitar, air pulling bullshit out of imaginary asses.
Black Lives Matter is responsible for a non-existent uptick in cop killings. Illegal aliens are causing all the crime that's been dropping for two decades. Planned Parenthood gives out recreational abortions. The Iranians are all suicidal maniacs. Jesus wants you to be rich. It goes on.
Climate change is not happening, I hear that one a lot. The science is uncertain, it's not our fault, I'm not a scientist. I heard that last night.
When you're dealing with Unicorn Shit, you have to put the burden of proof on the Unicorn rider. Show me the Unicorn, is what I mean.
You don't believe in Global Warming, okay, do you believe in the Greenhouse Effect? Do you believe gases can trap heat by absorption of outgoing radiation. You can do it yourself you know, with a bottle and some vinegar and baking soda. It's like gravity. It's not deniable.
So given that, since we're putting 40 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year, you tell me, why is the earth NOT getting hotter? Where is this unicorn that's causing all these piles of shit, eh?
You need wings, Dear Diary, wings. I'm just grateful I have this private Diary to vent to, where no one else can read it.
