There are, primarily, only 2 categories of voter that support Hillary Clinton.
No. 1 is comprised of those who will benefit from her election and
No. 2 is a loyal following of those who mistakenly think they will.
So, for support broad enough to win the primaries and the general election, Hillary is counting on sustained ignorance. It is fundamental to her success.
Why?
Let’s get category No.1 out of the way first, because it is the easiest.
The 1%, which, in reality, also encompasses those who identify with the 1% (because they delude themselves into thinking they belong with the 1% and will, somehow, realize some value from this association) simply do not amount to enough voters to elect anyone. They have money and power, but they just don’t have the numbers.
They know this, understand it and they are acutely aware of it. The real question is; do the rest of us understand it?
You see, the 1% is also counting on your ignorance because if you realized the truth, believed in it and applied the power that it offers, they couldn’t get their way.
So there is a Grand Delusion at play and Hillary, the 1%, The Banksters and the Military Industrial Financial Complex all rely on our collective ignorance to give the edge to Hillary and have her elected to serve their unique and special interests. Those interests are diametrically opposed to the interests of ‘We The People’.
Of course they realize they can’t fool all of us. They understand that they can’t even fool enough of us for too long, given the ability in this internet age for the truth to expose their best laid plans. So they are working hard to fool enough of us, just long enough, to ‘secure the Democratic Nomination’ for their proclaimed and consecrated candidate.
They have had this plan for more than a decade and they have paid a lot of money to back it and they are determined to see it through.
Perhaps Jeb was plan ‘A’ but plan ‘B’ has always been integral and as far as they are concerned, either one will do. Follow the money and it leads to this unmistakable conclusion. But it only becomes the unmistakable conclusion if they are unable keep enough people ignorant of the truth.
And that brings us to the No. 2 category. There are many ways the truth is twisted, suppressed, camouflaged, slandered and contradicted to carry out this deception. It’s not an easy task. It’s a very expensive undertaking. That’s why Super PAC’s that support Hillary need more than $100 million. You can run a successful campaign on a fraction of that if you only had to deal with the facts. The truth is seamless and strong and when you are in the position where you have to work against the truth, your fabric is full of holes that take a lot of money to plug.
Just crafting the words that will gain support for your candidate is a tedious and complicated mission. It’s always easier to defend the truth, easier to use the truth to motivate people.
Deception, on the other hand, is only effective if it can be perceived as truth and then there are so many details and loose ends and therefore, those incessant holes that will need plugged, again, with money.
So word crafting is very important and plain speak is the enemy of effectively crafted deception.
Details are the undoing of it. Vague, catchy slogans and open-ended answers are best because they leave a path from which you may escape the eventual light that truth tends to shine on deception and give you an way to wiggle out. It usually looks, sounds and feels awkward but it, nonetheless, gives you ‘plausible deniability’.
The kicker is, these things are the ‘tell’ of a deception. They are the smoke used with the mirrors that can clue you in to find the fire that is the lie. You can recognize a vague answer as an escape from an authentic response. You can sense a twisted or spun truth as a distortion that becomes the opposite of truth. But you have to be a bit jaded, maybe cynical and suspicious to continually take a critical look at a candidate’s words and scrutinize them to determine if they meet the standard of truth. And the best deceptions always incorporates part of the truth simply to make them easier to swallow.
An example:
Hillary claims 60% of her donations come from women. Let’s give her benefit of the doubt and say she actually believes that (the actual proportion is closer to 53%). If it’s true you can say there’s no deception in that. But, strategically placed in the context of the debate wherein you want to give the impression that you are fundamentally supported by more women than the next candidate and therefore somehow condoned by WomenKind, it transforms into a deception.
Most of Hillary’s donations do not come in the form of small donations from individuals, not by a long shot. So, of her donators, a proportion of 60% does not amount to very many individuals.
Unlike Bernie Sanders, for example, with over 1 Million donations that are primarily small, individual donations of under $30 each, 60% would be a much larger number. The facts are, many more individual women have supported Bernie, but the well-placed partial truth created the deception that the opposite was fact.
And the deceptions only begin with examples like this and grow more sinister and dangerous.
For example:
During the last debate, while defending her donations from prominent Wall Street Financial Institutions and her refusal to support the position that those ‘too big to fail’ banks should be broken-up, Hillary stated that the two companies that were the primary factors that initiated the world-wide financial crisis weren’t even banks. AID, and insurance holding company and Lehman Brothers, an ‘investment’ firm. Deception, using a bit of truth, of what might seem easy to believe when only looking on the surface, depends upon your ignorance of what is just below that surface. The truth that Hillary knows but cunningly chose not to include is that, in the eyes of the federal government, AIG was a bank
AIG bought a small savings & loan in Wilton, Connecticut, explicitly so they could choose the Office of Thrift Supervision as their regulator. OTS’ oversight was so laughable that they were the only federal agency eliminated by Dodd-Frank.
Guess what? Lehman had a thrift too, Aurora Bank, which was ALSO regulated by OTS!
In the debates and numerous interviews, Clinton uses her well-constructed deception as part of her rejection of breaking up the big banks, as well as proof that her plan for financial regulation is more superior and comprehensive, version:
She says, "Look at what happened in ’08, AIG a big insurance company, Lehman Brothers, an investment bank helped to bring our economy down. So I wanna look at the whole problem. And that’s why my proposal is much more comprehensive than anything else that’s been put forth."
This is the kind of thing crafty people say when they want to seem smart and dupe the ignorant by sounding informed. But upon any reasonable inspection, the statement becomes completely absurd.
The office of Secretary of State, by definition, makes every official correspondence of the office a sensitive communication. The law requires that all the official communication be a part of the archive, property of the government and should never be removed from state control so that it can be preserved. A personal email server in your home circumvents all that. And word crafting to split hairs and claim nothing was marked ‘confidential’ is a deception. To claim, after the fact that you turned over all the information (when you really had not or otherwise) can only be construed as abiding by the law through deception because the records were only turned over when she was forced to turn them over.
Your ignorance is what Hillary counts on. It is what the Big Banks count on. It is what the Industrial Military Financial Complex counts on. It is what the 1% counts on. They NEED the majority of voters to remain ignorant or else why would anyone vote for Hillary? Their candidate would lose and they might end-up with someone who they fear might be uncontrollable for them. Someone like Bernie Sanders.
Hillary’s greatest enemy is a fine-toothed comb.
If you comb through the facts rather than the ‘tag lines’ of Hillary’s career you will discover that she is the exact opposite of the Political Revolution we need to restore our Democracy.
For example:
The tag line will brag of her extensive foreign policy experience. Experience that the other candidates lack and yet when you examine the judgement of her foreign policy experience you find a shambles of poor judgement and costly mistakes.
Hillary is the status quo. Follow the money. Look at those who have jumped to endorse her. The status quo seeks to protect itself. They are circling their respective and deceptive wagons against the formidable injection of TRUTH Bernie Sanders has given to this election cycle.
Bernie Sanders is not afraid of the fine-toothed comb because there’s nothing there (pun intended) to hide.
His experience is extensive. His foreign policy decisions have been spot on and he has been consistent and straight forward doing what he says and clearly stating what his platform is. No word crafting, just plain spoken truth. The truth that resonates with the majority of the American people as being just what we need. So much so, Hillary has become the foremost 'imitator' of Bernie Sanders.
Bernie Sanders can’t be bought because he has never been for sale.
He doesn’t accept donations from any corporate conglomerate, Bankster or special interest that doesn’t represent the working class and so he owes them nothing. They don’t give their money for free. Believing they do or believing any politician will not be influenced by the contributions of the 1% is just they type of ignorance they are hoping for, the ignorance Hillary Clinton is counting on.
So category No. 2 are those who remain ignorant, those who have been misled into believing that, if elected, Hillary will serve them. Because if you are not Wall Street, not the rich elite, not the Military Industrial Financial Complex, not actually part of the 1%, you have been duped. Hillary will not serve ‘We the People’ and will, instead, serve those who have paid for her.
Hillary tries to imitate Bernie with words but she is not Bernie, she is the sum of her doings. Know what that is. Do not remain ignorant.
If you have opted out and believe that your vote doesn’t count, you have been duped and are also part of the ignorance they are counting on. If your vote doesn’t count why would they spend upwards of $100 Million to create such a grand deception?
You are not what you say, you are what you do.
If you choose to do nothing then THAT is what you are.
Your ignorance is what Hillary counts on. It is what the Big Banks count on. It is what the Industrial Military Financial Complex counts on. It is what the 1% counts on.
Stay ignorant and they win, which means, you lose.
