The Guardian tells us that Nigel Farage will be heading to the US to train Trump for the next debate:
Farage’s involvement is part of Trump’s latest strategy that centres on his new campaign chair, Stephen Bannon. Bannon was the head of the rightwing Breitbart website before Trump hired him, and is an enthusiastic supporter of Brexit. The website’s UK wing, Breitbart London, has close ties to Ukip.
I guess that Rodrigo Duterte had visa problems, Viktor Orbán was unavailable, Marine Le Pen refused to work in the same room as Roger Ailes, Bibi Netanyahu doesn't want to risk the military aid package, and Jimmy Åkesson was on medical leave again.
Joking aside, Farage is a much stronger politician than Trump, but the really disturbing thing is the convergence of various white nationalist movements is a worrying trend beyond Trump.
Update: Josh Marshall at TPM has an article on this as well:
The logic of Farage's visit is that he is considered a skilled debater in addition to being someone who frequently makes Trump-like racist comments.
I don't really agree. As somebody who has to live with this stupid Brexit, I think that Farage has been firmly established as a much better debater than Trump.
