Anderson Cooper gave a very clear explanation during Sunday’s debate:
You described kissing women without consent, grabbing their genitals. That is sexual assault. You bragged that you have sexually assaulted women. Do you understand that?
But apparently it wasn't clear enough for some Republicans, despite the fact that it should be patently obvious. Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions was still confused about it Sunday night following the debate. The Weekly Standard writes about Sessions’ reaction in the spin room:
SESSIONS: This was very improper language, and he's acknowledged that.
TWS: But beyond the language, would you characterize the behavior described in that [video] as sexual assault if that behavior actually took place?
SESSIONS: I don't characterize that as sexual assault. I think that's a stretch. I don't know what he meant—
TWS: So if you grab a woman by the genitals, that's not sexual assault?
SESSIONS: I don't know. It's not clear that he—how that would occur.
Actually, it was pretty damn clear. Only a total Neanderthal masquerading in a suit wouldn't get it.

And here’s RNC spokesperson Sean Spicer in the spin room.
"I don't know. I'm not a lawyer," the RNC's Sean Spicer told TWS.
Hear that ladies? You've only been violated if a lawyer says so, and Sean Spicer isn't enough of a human being to make his own judgment.
