What if Donald Trump were Black?
How exactly would he get away with not being called “Thug?” How would he not be called a “Criminal?” A “Super-Predator?” Why aren’t we having a very earnest and serious discussion about the breakdown in values in the white community? What if we were talking about Barack Obama, and he had five children by three different women? Why aren’t we talking about the breakdown in the white family that allows a man to go around bragging about grabbing women by the pussy? The very same day Trump was busted by the Access Hollywood tape he said he still thinks the Central Park Five are “guilty” even though DNA evidence — science — has proven they were innocent of sexual assault after he'd called for their execution for a crime they didn’t commit when they were children.
All these questions and more are presented to us in the follow 13 minute rant by Van Jones.
Enjoy.
Van points out that Richard Sherman — a Stanford educated professional athlete — was called a “Thug” for spiking a football. Eric Garner was called “Thug” for allegedly selling cigarattes even though he didn’t have any cigarettes at the time, which is why he was arguing and resisting in the first place — he hadn’t done anything wrong. Michael Brown was called a “Thug” for shoving a guy, who’d already shoved him first. Terence Crutcher can have his hands up and still get shot and killed.
Let me add that Trump has been sued for sexual harassment, assault and rape twice as many times as Bill Clinton, there are plenty of Miss USA and Miss Universe contestants with complaints about his creepy abusive behavior.
Donald Trump walked out with his entourage and inspected us closer than any general ever inspected a platoon. He would stop in front of a girl, look her up and down, and say, “Hmmm.” Then he would go on and do the same thing to the next girl. He took notes on a little pad as he went along. After he did this, Trump said: “O.K. I want all the girls to come forward.” …Donald Trump looked at Miss Alabama.
“Come here,” he said.
She took one more step forward.
“Tell me, who’s the most beautiful woman here?”
Miss Alabama’s eyes swam around.
“Besides me?” she said. “Uh, I like Arkansas. She’s sweet.”
“I don’t care if she’s sweet,” Donald Trump said. “Is she hot?” …
It became clear that the point of the whole exercise was for him to divide the room between girls he personally found attractive and those he did not. Many of the girls found the exercise humiliating. Some of the girls were sobbing backstage after he left, devastated to have failed even before the competition really began to impress “The Donald.”

Including his going backstage when they were naked.
BuzzFeed News reported on Sunday that Trump also walked through the dressing rooms at the 2000 Miss USA pageant, where he watched the naked contestants prepare backstage.
“I’ll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed,” Trump tells Howard Stern. The recordings were released by CNN on Saturday.
Trump continues, “No men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it…. ‘Is everyone OK’? You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.
New cases and complaints are apparently piling up on Gloria Alred’s desk like Everest so why exactly should we believe his denials and claims that these were “just words and not actions?”
Sheeet!!
