demonization — to represent as diabolically evil; “the demonization of our enemies.” Synonyms: demonisation
You can feel their brimming hatred at every event. With every unsanctioned cheer of Donald Trump's threats at the first two debates to the 'Theater of Hatred' that was the Republican National Convention. These people don’t care if the most of what they believe are lies. They won't let anything interfere with their hatred.
And make no mistake, given the chance to act physically on their hatred, there are a great number who will. There has never been anything like this in the history of United States politics, where a presidential candidate is actively stoking the already roaring fires of hatred toward a political opponent.
It was frightening watching the hulking figure of a very belligerent Donald Trump stalking the suddenly very small looking, yet still very bold, Hillary Clinton as she engaged the group of undecided voters who asked the questions at the 2nd debate.
Make no mistake, his threats to ‘jail’ Hillary Clinton aren’t directed at the mainstream voter, most of which understand the republican created email ‘controversy’ has already been vetted by the F.B.I. with a recommendation that it would not support charges being brought. His threats are designed to whip the Fox ‘News’ viewer into a murderous frenzy.
Trump knows he’s losing. He knows the Fox ‘hosted’ final debate in Las Vegas is his last chance. He wants his ‘Basket of Deplorables’ to be in full froth. If rules of no cheering are set down by the moderator, Chris Wallace, you can bet they will be violated by these extremists who now feel they’re on home turf.
In case you’ve managed to forget the lynch mob/witch hunt/dumpster fire that was the RNC National Convention, please, look below:
But this will be far better for them than the republican National Convention because now they will have the object of their rabid, frothing at the mouth, unreasoning hatred right there in front of them.
I’m guessing all the sane news media bent over backwards vetting the audience for the first two debates. I have no such confidence the same will be done for this country’s only right-wing extremist, propaganda channel.
The Secret Service must be hyper-vigilant in what can only be called enemy territory. Trump has already incited the 2nd Amendment extremists to take matters in their own hands should Hillary win the election.
Former social critic, now purple faced, spittle ejecting, insane, ranting tool of the ultra-right-wing, Alex Jones, is calling Hillary Clinton a ‘god damn demon’ and screaming she should be ‘damned to hell’. This homicidal rage, fake or genuine, is so very irresponsible and so very dangerous.
And now just days before the final debate, a firebombing happened at a GOP headquarters in North Carolina. This type of act is totally irreprehensible and has no place in a democracy. Nobody has claimed responsibility but that hasn’t stopped right-wing extremists from blaming the Democratic Party and in particular Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump in an unprecedented low in any sort of election took to twitter to recklessly enrage his followers:
Luckily, some forward thinking democrats put together a GoFundMe page and managed to raise enough money to repair the building within hours. Who knows if that message will get out into the right-wing lunashere and if it does if it will gain any purchase.
I’m convinced at this point the republican party is one step removed from being a terrorist organization. The old guard of the party has totally lost control of the monster they’ve created with Fox ‘News’ and hate media. The loss of election could well be the trigger and I’m sure there are unhinged individuals who would jump at the chance to stop a Hillary Clinton presidency from happening.
Not since John F. Kennedy went to Dallas has there been a political figure walking into a place which threatened the potential of so much violence.
I hope and pray the Secret Service brings their ‘A’ game.

Okay, reading some of the comments it’s become obvious that some people don’t understand that ‘fear’ in this case equals ‘have concern’. Nobody is sitting around ‘in fear’ needing to be reassured. Also I used the word ‘life’ because ‘safety’ doesn’t really have the same level of urgency. The article cites many reasons for this concern and and the level of animosity directed at HRC in this election is unprecedented.
And yet another example of why this is a valid concern:
