Evidence continues to mount Donald Trump is an a-hole. We have seen him have petty, vindictive behavior towards anyone who has slighted him in the past. Exhibit A is his treatment of Alicia Machado, Rosie ODonnell and Khzir Khan and his family. The list of his enemies is long. There is even a persistent rumor that his entire run for presidency is to get revenge for his treatment at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner by President Obama and the host, Seth Myers. Here is a video of it if you haven’t seen it. Great stuff.
Now two new pieces of evidence have come forth. One is Sir Richard Branson’s recent blog post comments about DJT’s desire to get revenge on people who wouldn’t help him in his bankrupties (plural as in 6). www.virgin.com/…
Some years ago, Mr Trump invited me to lunch for a one-to-one meeting at his apartment in Manhattan. We had not met before and I accepted. Even before the starters arrived he began telling me about how he had asked a number of people for help after his latest bankruptcy and how five of them were unwilling to help. He told me he was going to spend the rest of his life destroying these five people.
He didn’t speak about anything else and I found it very bizarre. I told him I didn’t think it was the best way of spending his life. I said it was going to eat him up, and do more damage to him than them. There must be more constructive ways to spend the rest of your life. (Hopefully my advice didn’t lead to him running for President!)
Then we have Chris Cizzla at Washingtonpost’s the Fix www.washingtonpost.com/… discussing the Al Smith Dinner last night and Trump’s atrocious behavior. He couldn’t have been more rude without flipping Cardinal Dolan the bird and spitting on Hillary herself at this dinner. It was a big “FU” to the entire room.
Remember that Trump has always viewed himself as someone on the outside looking in. His father was a big deal in Queens as a real estate developer, but never risked taking his business into Manhattan. Trump, even when he became extremely wealthy, was never accepted by the old-money elite of New York City, who viewed him as too brash, too in-your-face for their taste.
And remember, too, that the clearest motivation for Trump to run for president in 2016 reportedly came in 2011 when he was absolutely roasted by President Obama and comedian Seth Meyers at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. That was Trump, yet again, as the guy on the outside looking in — this time at the Washington elite, all of whom were laughing at him.
So, once again, Don the Con’s narcissitic, thin skinned, disordered personality was on display. The man clearly has a narcissistic personality disorder. I think it offers the most clear reason why this man is tempermentally and emotionally unfit for the office of President of the United States. “How can a man who can be baited by a tweet have his fingers on the nuclear codes?” is a serious consideration in this election.
