I don’t see a scheduled Dawn Chorus in the queue this morning, so I’ll put this up as a starter.
It’s migration time for birds — probably late in the migration season for many parts of the U.S.
What interesting birds have you seen in your neighborhood, or visiting your bird feeder?
A Swainson’s thrush has been breakfasting on the last of the dogwood berries at my house this week.
I think I saw a winter wren, as well. At least, it didn’t appear to be the usual year-round resident Carolina wren, and winter wren is the next best match.
