As a counter to what we’ll no doubt hear about the Rasmussen and IBD/TIPP polls (both at Clinton +1), two other national polls released today have Clinton at +12. The first is the newest installment of the ABC tracking poll. This poll was in the field from Oct 20-23 and has an A+ rating on fivethirtyeight.com. It shows unchanged numbers from those released a couple of days ago:
Clinton 50
Trump 38
Johnson 5
Stein 2
Here are the results of some other questions by ABC:
70 percent in this poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates, disapprove of how Trump has handled questions about his treatment of women, with strong disapproval at 57 percent.
Sixty-four percent of likely voters, moreover, disapprove of Trump's refusal to say whether he will accept the outcome if Clinton wins. And 58 percent think that by calling the election rigged, he's making excuses in case he loses, not raising legitimate concerns.
The second poll comes from Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (Democracy Corps). This poll was in the field from Oct 21-24 and has a B- rating from 538 (although, as noted in the comments, this outfit most closely predicted the results of the 2008 and 2012 presidential races). The poll reveals the exact same numbers as the ABC poll:
Clinton 50
Trump 38
Johnson 5
Stein 2
Other info from Democracy Corps:
No one is surprised that Trump emerges with a net favorability of -28 points and 60 percent hold unfavorable views of the GOP nominee. The House Republicans have an even worse image than Trump (-31 unfavorable) and the Republican Party has a -23 point unfavorable image with over half unfavorable (53 percent). With the Democratic Party at parity of positive and negative reactions, the Republicans have a brand problem.
