So, I voted on Tuesday — part of the record early voting in Ft Bend county. But Harris, the heart of Houston, is one of the major counties we need to turn TX blue. From 2012, we need an extra 700k or so votes — and it looks like we’re getting them!
As of Tuesday, 250k more voters had turned out than in 2012. And now, Harris County is reporting their totals for Wednesday, and has broken even more records. It was amazing when they broke turnout records day 1 with 67k...and then beat THAT record on Tuesday with 73K...but as of this morning, over 76,000 voted on Wed, shattering even Tuesday’s record!
Texas is going blue!

So, county numbers have started to trickle in. Rather than add them to an already full comment thread, the new diary is over here. Please come and take a look — I added even more links. What an exciting election for my first as a TX resident.
