Weren't there reports that the initial Wikileak leaks had Cyrillic characters in the source code of the digital documents? I know I read that somewhere. I remember that this meant that they had been edited on a computer whose original language was in Russian. If this is true, shouldn't this fact be included in every article about the leaks from Wikileaks?
Shouldn't the readers of these articles know that there just might be a fundamental credibility issue with everything released by them?
Now I'm not an expert on this, and maybe what I read was bunk, but maybe someone who knows what they are doing could do a Nexus (sp?) search or something?
it just seems to me that if this is true, doesn't it badly damage everything that Wikileaks releases? Because even though the current source code might not have Cyrillic characters, they could have been removed. No?
