About an hour ago, the story broke that Donald Trump would hold his first “Thank You Rally” in Cincinnati on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the US Bank Arena:

Word on how to get official tickets here:
Tickets for Trump Rally in Cincinnati
Trump’s campaign is distributing the tickets. Doors open at 4 p.m.
The arena seats about 17,000 people.
I’m not advocating personally for going inside the rally — that would be literally putting your own life in your hands. I want to stand outside, with as many as we can muster, to stand in silent witness.
This is a golden opportunity if we’re agile enough to take it.
I propose that we all dress in blue or wear blue armbands.
I’m going to use some of my banked Frequent Flyer miles to get there, because I can’t wait until the Inauguration to express my dismay.
If there are enough of us there, maybe he’ll realize that it’s not a good idea to hold Victory Rallies in a country where less than 25% of the voting population voted for him.
If you can’t get to Cincinnati on short notice, it looks like he’s planning Des Moines, Iowa next.
I’m a lot of things, but an experienced protest organizer I am not. If you are, and you’re willing to give us some help in the comments, please go ahead — even if you can’t make it. We need your wisdom and experience.

Two commenters below mentioned that armbands could be, ahem, misinterpreted. But blue tshirts / turtlenecks / sweaters depending on the weather will send an even stronger statement.
Be there and be blue!
Also — one article mentioned that Trump will be in Des Moines on Saturday. No ticket link up on his web site yet, though.

One more update tonight then I have to get some work done since this adventure will cost me two days away from the office:
I notice that the ticket site is still up, so there must still be tickets up for grabs. You know what to do:
www.donaldjtrump.com/…
You’ll need to use a real telephone number to confirm your tickets but you can use a Zip Code for Cincinnati (45201-45205) to confuse them further.
Finally, check out the Contract that he wants his supporters to sign in advance of the rally: www.thetrumpcontract.com
Thanks for all the recs and shares! I’ll report back from Cincinnati!
