These are the last numbers in from the Virginia Public Access Project site of the numbers of early votes in the Commonwealth of Virginia for 2016 and the grand total was 538,410 surpassing the total of 2008 of 506,672. The breakdown for the blue Northern Virginia area was as follows.
The immediate DC suburbs of Fairfax and Arlington counties along with the cities of Fairfax, Falls Church and Alexandria was 177,686 and the exurb area of Loudoun and Prince William counties along with Manasass Park and Manasass City was 81,642 for a total of 259,328 which accounts for roughly 24% of the total votes that were cast in 2012. Both of these numbers surpassed the totals from 2008 for both regions and total for the entire Northern Virginia area. If you factor in the Washington Post poll of 11/1 with Clinton at 65% and Trump at 22% Clinton will lead by about 76405 in the DC area and 5714 from the exurbs(Clinton 47%-40% for Trump) which gets you to 82119. She seems to be running at or equal to Obama in the DC area but she seems behind the total in the exurbs. Obama averaged about a 56% total in the exurbs while Hillary was polling at 47%, we shall see if that improves. Obama had about a 231,000 vote cushion from NOVA which led to his 150,000 vote win in Virginia for 2012.
Don’t know if this increase is due to new voters or people who didn’t realize they could early vote and take advantage of it. Whatever it maybe a vote is a vote and if its for HRC it is all the better.
As for the big day I am hoping that Northern Virginia can get it together and count early so as not to keep us all up but if not I would suggest that you keep an eye on those 4 counties and 5 cities that I listed above and check on the State Board of Election website as they report in:

I believe it was Dillonfence and Diana in NoVa who testified that the early numbers may look scary at first but be aware that a big blue bolt will strike. So you may just have to be patient.
