I’ve voted in every election, presidential, midterms, local races, primaries, since 1992. And I’ve voted a straight D ticket in every election.
I was energized as a first time voter for the Clinton-Gore ticket, and proudly gave Gore then Kerry my heartfelt support — two decent men who would have led us in better directions. I was filled with hope and history when I voted Obama twice.
But this morning I cast my most determined and emphatic vote I’ve ever cast when I voted for this remarkable leader:
Yes, part of my enthusiasm comes from my drive to vote against the most unqualified presidential candidate of my lifetime.
But Hillary is a unique and inspiring leader, not the gifted politician that Bill and Obama are, but a strong, unyielding, determined leader who I know will work her heart out for us and our values.
This is the most convinced I’ve ever been as a voter. Go Team Blue!
