Today is the day. Today is about perseverance. It's about 30 years of investigations, innuendo, and outright slander in an effort to keep a strong, smart, and tough woman from breaking through the glass ceiling. It's almost fitting that she had to defeat the very archetype of misogyny to get there.
Those of you who haven't voted for her, do so. Don't let anything stop you. Don't let any amount of intimidation or inconvenience stand in your way of defending the essential fabric of our democracy. If anyone or anything impedes your path, ask questions and take action until the situation is resolved by you casting a ballot.
Have perspective. You KNOW that the two candidates don't compare. They are NOT "the same." You understand that the mishandling of emails doesn't compare with a well-documented history of ill treatment of women, failed and deceitful business dealings, and a propensity for hot-headed decision making. The former was a mistake, acknowledged and uncharged. The latter (plus a full litany of other transgressions) renders him more unfit for the Presidency than anyone before him.
I'm with her. You should be, too. Make it happen, today. TODAY.
