It looks like John Bolton accidentally outed himself as Alex Jones’ number 1 fan.
Former UN Ambassador John Bolton suggested Sunday that the hacking of the Democratic National Committee may have been a "false flag" operation by the Obama administration.
"It is not at all clear to me just viewing this from the outside, that this hacking into the DNC and the RNC computers was not a false flag operation," Bolton, who was being considered for a senior position in the State Department, told Fox News.
I know exactly what this is. Bolton is trying to get on Da Dear Leader’s good side, after having let his mind wander just a few seconds before, thoughtlessly saying “If the facts prove out that Russia did try to influence our election, they should face very grave consequences.” Then there was a brief oh-shit moment. “Oh Shit! Forgot Trump has a man-crush on Vlad!”. Then he came back with this BS to even out his earlier transgression and hope the Dear Leader forgives his brief mind-fart. Yes, America we are at a point where people make up bat-shit conspiracies to gain favors with our President.
More broadly, John Bolton looks to be the last Neocon with any hope of power in the Trump administration.
The Neocons played this one badly. They officially derided Trump and supported all his rivals until the bitter end. Now they find themselves on the verge of a complete historical wipeout. The next four years could see them potentially even less relevant than they were during the Obama administration. After Neocon darlings like Rubio, Giuliani, Cruz and Christie were sidelined, they returned hat in hand, lining up to kiss Trump’s ass.
Our job is to remind Trump and the world why Bolton is bad for America. Remember he couldn’t even get confirmed back in 2005, despite the post-911 and Iraq hysteria, Bush had to shove him through in a recess appointment. And he’s gotten only more crazy since than. He got on the MEK terrorist payroll , literally giving “paid speeches” to Chalabi-esque foreign cults (same thing that partially sank Giuliani’s bid for State).
Bolton does not disclose his paid speeches on behalf of the MEK.
The Times identifies Bolton only as “a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute [and] the United States ambassador to the United Nations from August 2005 to December 2006.” However, Bolton has acknowledged delivering paid speeches in support of the People’s Mojahedin of Iran, or MEK. The MEK advocates the overthrow of the Iranian government (as Bolton does himself in his op-ed) and was designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. until 2012. According to a 2012 NBC report, U.S. officials believe the MEK has carried out assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists with training and financing from Israel.
Bolton did not respond to questions about how much he has been paid by the MEK. However, the Financial Times reported in 2011 that speakers such as Bolton received from $20,000 to $100,000 per speech, with four-speech packages being “common.”
And if you think this cult is benign, you’re not paying close attention. This group practically invented “fake news”. They have nearly taken us to war with Iran several times already.
As a vocal critic of the Iran deal, Bolton is on-record, as late as November 18, 2016, literally advocating war with Iran.
