As seen in a recent diary and comment thread, there is a lot of pointing and snicker-sneering about Trump voters and about my state of West Virginia. This state has been turning red, after a long liberal and radical and Democratic history. Sure enough, our voters rejected Clinton/Kaine and went for Trumplethinskin. (After strongly supporting the insurgent in the primary, I might add).
West Virginia is the legendary example.
Blaming the voters is a loser’s strategy.
I’m trying to cooperate with Mountaineers for Progress, which grew out of the primary and the 50-state strategy (should be 3144 counties).
Blame, if we are going to place it, goes on the party and its neglect of local and state organizing.
This must be local activism, but with the help of a credible DNC leadership. I’m not going to say who the DNC chair should be, but I’d like to read more pro and con regarding the various candidates.
I know I don’t care for Tom Perez, who was interviewed by Chris Hayes, see my earlier comment here.
(PS I’m trying to get the West Virginia Kos group mobilized, please ask me for an invitation. Also, help in adminisetring, editing, thanks!!)
