In 2008 there were approximately 287,000 votes cast for the democrats in the primary.
Yesterday (Feb 9, 2016) there were approximately 246,000 votes cast in the same democratic primary.
Does anyone else see a problem with this?
In Iowa we had basically the same story. More votes and more youth voters specifically came out to vote in the democratic caucus in 2008.
So where I ask is the Sander’s revolution? When he is asked how he is going to make change happen and get his agenda through congress he says he is going to lead a revolution of voters, inspiring many more people to become involved in the process.
That sounds great but where are they? And if Sanders is not going to raise a crap ton of money for the Democratic races, including the down ticket races, then how are we going to win? How are we going to beat the republicans who are going to raise and spend bajillions of dollars and cheat their butts off? Lower turnout and less money. That does not sound good to me.
