I'm torn between who to vote for. My head says Hillary but my heart agrees with most of what Sanders says. I guess you can say I'm leaning more towards Bernie. Hillary has a more experienced background and I do tend to believe she has a good electability argument. However Sanders does make a good point about head to head polls and the Iraq war vote. Bernie states that he will win because he will get people out to vote. That is his main talking point for electability so here's my question:
If he's not able to get a record number of voters out in Iowa or during this whole primary process, how can we win in November? Yes I know he came from behind, yes I know 2008 was a special year, and yes I understand in 2000 and 2004 the number of voters weren't high either. BUT in 2000 and 2004 we also lost those elections. Am I wrong in being alarmed that the republican votes in Iowa increased by over 50%?
Bernie is all about getting people out to vote in HIGH numbers. I need to see that actually happen in order to have some hope for the general election.
