Wow. A smoking editorial in the Des Moines Register. The paper is calling for a thorough investigation of the caucus results in the primary contest held on Monday. I have a feeling that a lot more water has yet to go over the dam regarding the caucus in Iowa. There were many irregularities, and the Democratic Chair in the state just happens to be a big-time Hillary supporter. She is resisting inquiry into the events of Monday evening, which only fuels suspicion that something isn’t kosher.

I thought the Clinton campaign made a brash and risky decision to declare ‘victory’ while a number of precincts had not reported. They have set themselves up for a major ‘egg-on-face’ moment. It’s also worth noting that Martin O’Malley won more delegates than the margin between Hillary and Bernie, so depending on which way his delegates vote at their convention, Sanders may actually come away with the win. Iowa Democrats don’t release the raw vote totals from their caucus, but all indications are that Bernie won the popular vote as well. Stay tuned, this could get really interesting.
