The opening with Ben Carson, so clueless, not knowing where or when to go I thought would be the highlight of the debate. I mean who couldn't laugh as the stage manager poked his head out frantically waving Carson to take the stage, then finally sayin “Aw frick it, just stay there!"
Then Trump being nice enough to remain with him as Rubio and Cruz did their best Cartman routine of “Screw your guys, I'm going on stage!” That was followed by Jeb doing a “should I stay or should I go?” routine. I'm on my iPad so I'm a bit limited to what I can share but anyone watching it knows.
That was followed by a horrid Admiral Stockdale-like performance on the main stage!
But no that wasn't the worst. We just witnessed the worst performance of any candidate since Lloyd Bentsen took down Dan Quayle when Chris Christie took down Marco Rubio! It was as painful yet hilarious to watch Rubio repeating, robot like, his canned Obama speech, 4 times, as Christie stood there and said “there he goes again!
i don't post here anymore much because frankly I don't have the drive I had when I feared for our nation in the hands of Bush et al. But my God these jokers running for the GOP nomination are worse! And it frightens me to see our party’s infighting when our energy should be on defeating these clowns. But I really don't see the good in attacking a fellow Democrat.
The good thing is that Rubio, who looked like a candidate who may take it, given the idiocy of Cruz and Trump, tanked. Tonight we saw the rebirth of Dan Quayle in Marco Rubio. Rubio Glitch now has its own Twitter account. @RubioGlitch
Tonight was a special night. The end of Rubio. (And I thought it would come in a 1990’s foam party pic. Oh how I wish we had cell phones then. Rubio was my type and I must admit. I did attend my share of those decadent events) He is a laughingstock. Let us rejoice.
