Who knows what is happening to MSNBC these days. But I found something very peculiar this morning. Melissa Harris Perry was doing a segment on “Wake the Vote” ( a educational “rock the vote” sort of program at Wake Forest). Nothing controversial about the segment at all. BUT, behind MHP, was a backdrop with three young people, which looked like stock photos, each young person was smiling while holding up a Marco Rubio sign. Was that coordinated? I find it hard to believe that it was not. Now, I don’t believe MHP is supporting Rubio, but why the blatant political advertisement for Marco Rubio????????? The message for the segment seemed to be “millennials love Rubio”. Anybody else see this? Thoughts? It actually made me angry. Not as angry as terrorists taking over a nature reserve, but angry nonetheless.
