I started a new(ish) website and podcast, and thought I would post it here in case anyone might be interested in knowing what progressives are up to in deep red state Oklahoma. We do exist, and are fighting the good fight! We even win one occasionally, like this week when a school voucher bill was tabled (likely to rise again another day).
I call the podcast Pointing Left. Guess why!
Here’s the post for Episode 5

Pointing Left* is a new podcast bringing Oklahoma a critical alternative perspective on the state's politics and culture. Serena Blaiz, "The Accidental Okie," reports on recent news of interest to left leaning Oklahoma citizens, upcoming events and shares a progressive editorial that can't often be found in the commercial media outlets. The podcast began in February 2016 and is produced weekly for OklahomaActivist.com with support from Broad Spectrum Radio (see below) and the Center for Conscience in Action.
Any feedback welcome. If you know someone in Oklahoma who might be interested, please share.
