There is a perception in the politisphere that the term “single payer” may be subconsciously sending a negative impression to those who don't really understand what it means. The impression is that somehow the term is causing people to be inherently suspicious of the idea. So, if that is the case how could this be repackaged so that it would hit the right notes from a branding perspective? “National Healthcare” doesn't do it for me as it implies the federal government would suddenly be employing actual health care providers. Not the case. “Medicare for all” is popular but also has conotations which are baked into the national conciousness.
So, with all that being said, how about a few ideas?
