Just watched a video of the Chicago police saying the Trump camp made the call to cancel the rally in Chicago. That the police believed they had more than enough resources to keep order during the rally.
What we saw in Chicago was a glimpse of how Trump will handle himself when faced with pressure and confrontation. He’ll fold. He’ll tuck his tail between his legs and run.
Trump showed weakness when he needed to show strength.
It was really an bad play for a candidate trying to build a tough guy image. You don’t back down when faced with adversity unless you’re looking to encourage your detractors to do it MORE.
Now the protesters smell the blood in the water. Show up in enough numbers, and Trump will run away.
Hopefully this event sinks into his supporters’ heads. He’s weak. He’d fold at any national tension and maybe threaten to file a lawsuit from a safe house.
