John Kasich based his campaign strategy this past month on winning his home state, a strategy that made it mathematically impossible for him to win the nomination. Maybe no one sat him down with a calculator and explained it to him before hand, which makes you wonder how he is still running the state of Ohio, but he will literally need 106% of delegates after Ohio to win the nomination, yet he is staying in the race. So what is his grand plan to win the nomination somehow in Cleveland?
Flying over the Rocky Mountains in a covered wagon with a sail! He said this and no one covered it:
And finally, finally, I want you coming out on the road, I want you continuing to do what we have been doing all over this country. I'm getting ready to rent a covered wagon. We're going to have the wind blow us over the Rocky Mountains to California. But here's what I want you to know. Thank you very much and God bless.
If someone knocked on your door and told you this you would call the police not go vote for them!
Maybe now we know why his New Hampshire town halls were popular, he just rambles on and on.
Is this guy completely delusional or what? Then when he gets the chance to have a substantive debate, with only three candidates on the stage on Monday in Utah, what does he do? He cancels, agreeing with Donald Trump not to show up, instead of challenging Donald Trump to debate him:
Fox News canceled its upcoming Republican presidential debate after contenders Donald Trump and John Kasich backed out.
Kasich, the Ohio governor, said he would join the event only with the participation of GOP front-runner Trump, who on Wednesday morning said he planned to skip the Monday debate in Salt Lake City because he already had plans to deliver a "very major speech" on the same day.
"I'm making a very major speech in front of a very important group of people," Trump said on "Fox & Friends," later confirming that the remarks will be delivered before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Trump said his speech at the powerful lobbying group's conference in Washington "was scheduled a while ago."
Congratulations John Kasich, you just ensured that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee.
