While Senator Sander is correct, that when we as a nation come together, there's nothing we can not do. However, being "pragmatic" about it, we need to insure we don't have to keep demonstrating in the streets to achieve our goals, rather we need to make sure we have the right people, in the right places, to insure our agenda, a progressive agenda and progressive candidates are on the table, and most especially on the ballot in down ballot races.
We have already seen just how far left we have dragged Hillary, kicking, screaming, deceptive like a republican, to the left of her normal comfort zone, somewhere to the center right moderate zone, with just Senator Sanders being in this presidential race.
Now, in order for us to help cement Senator Sanders' political revolution, we have to be strategic in our approach in accomplishing this mission impossible, as "they" would say. How we do it is actually quite simple really, but does take time and determination. Stop and think for a moment, the Tea Party took over the republican party in the house using this simple technique, and did it within a year.

The Revolution continues, the voluptuous female hasn’t sung yet! It’s only half time!
You want this revolution to be successful? Simple, get involved and don’t take no for an answer. There are literally hundreds of races happening across this country where the candidates are running unopposed, which should be easy targets.
From The Texas Precinct Project (Yes, Tea Party Website, crazy yes, but very informative)
There are infinite levels of activity in politics but among them, the role of the Precinct Chairman stands out in importance. It is the basic level of elected office within a political party and influences every other decision that is made. Party Platform resolutions begin in the precinct. State Convention delegates are appointing by the Precinct Chairmen. Local GOTV operations revolve around the activity and ability of the Precinct Chairman.
If you want to have an impact in politics, I would submit to you that becoming a Precinct Chairman is the first step you should take. The office is usually quite easy to secure, the time investment is flexible and your impact on local and state politics can be as small or significant as you choose.

This is how the tea party took over the republican party and why we have such craziness on their side of the isle today. We have to do the same exact thing, otherwise we will have only more of their craziness. We have to take back our democracy Dammit! They will not give it up without a knock down, drag out fight (metaphorically speaking of course).
Look, I’m not advocating creating a Tea Party within the democrat party, I’m advocating that, as democrats, even if we’ve only taken on the mantel while Senator Sander has, we simply employ similar, successful tactics. I’m not advocating for crashing the gates, so to speak, more like taking them over.
Look, I know many of you freak out (over react) when you hear the term revolution, especially in the context anywhere near the term socialism, just because of the ugly propaganda that’s has been a staple of our political diet for over the last century, especially from notable administration mouth pieces like the Washington post, and especially the New York Times.
I’m not saying this will be easy. Simple and easy have to very different meanings, but if we can follow simple directions, one that have already proven very successful, we can do the same.
There are, at last I knew, 191 “Bernie” Democrats running for office local, state and national office, according to the DemocraticUnderground.com. Help these candidates in their respective districts, and become precinct committee people / chairs / leaders, and we can help cement this political revolution. Check in your own state / districts / precincts, check for races where you can pitch in and help them out.
You see, when you are a precinct committee person, you take part in determining who actually gets on the ballots (be sure to check you specific states requirements). The more of you that take on a precinct together, have a much greater chance of setting the determining not only candidates but the over all party agenda.
How do we win, simple, we use their own stupid rules designed to keep us out!
The 2018 mid terms are just around the corner, and we need to have some people on them like stink on poo poo. Ya feel me? Taking the party back, one precinct at a time if need be.
This presidential contest is not over, we’re only half way through it. We have to put our shoulders to the grind stone, Bern the midnight oil and be relentless in our message, It’s the Oligarchy Stupid.
